A custom MetaTrader 5 Expert Advisor built from a clear written specification usually starts at around ₹14,000. Most custom trading software projects fall between ₹10,000 and ₹40,000. Where a project lands in that range depends almost entirely on how many decisions the software has to make — not on how profitable anyone hopes the strategy will be.
| Project | Starting from |
|---|---|
| MT4 to MT5 conversion | ₹10,000 |
| EA or indicator upgrade | ₹10,000 |
| Custom MT5 indicator | ₹12,000 |
| Custom Expert Advisor — MT5 | ₹14,000 |
| Telegram to MT5 bridge | ₹14,000 |
| TradingView to MT5 webhook bridge | ₹16,000 |
| Pine Script to MT5 conversion | ₹18,000 |
| Multi-symbol basket EA | ₹22,000 |
These are starting points, exclusive of GST. The final figure is always fixed in a written quotation before any payment.
Every entry condition, exit condition and filter is a decision the software makes on every tick or bar. Three clear conditions take far less time to build and test than fifteen that depend on each other.
Reading data from several timeframes, or managing several symbols from one chart, multiplies the cases that have to be handled and tested.
Trailing stops, break-even moves, partial closes, scaling in and recovery rules each add their own logic and their own edge cases.
Daily loss limits, maximum trades per day, equity floors, session windows and news-time handling are worth having — and each one has to be specified and tested.
Porting a Pine Script, rebuilding MQL4 code for MT5, or connecting Telegram or a webhook adds work on both sides: the build itself, and the comparison against the original.
Source code, documentation, a video walkthrough or extended support are priced into the quotation when you ask for them.
How much you plan to trade, which broker you use (within reason) and how confident you are in the strategy. A developer prices the work, not the outcome — and anyone who prices a build on promised results is selling something other than software.
Our requirement template (PDF) covers all of this, and the guide What to send when you ask for an EA quotation explains each point in detail.
We will not tell you whether your strategy is good. We build what you specify, test that the software does what the specification says, and make no statement or promise about profit, return or accuracy.
